Gaggia
NEW EVO VERSION OF THE LEGENDARY MANUAL COFFEE MACHINE OFFERS AN IMPROVED SPECIFICATION AND TWO NEW STYLSH COLOURS.
Gaggia introduced one of the most popular and long-running manual coffee machines in 1991 with the launch of the iconic Classic model - which remains many coffee aficionados first choice to this day.
The Classic was one part of a series of innovations that saw Gaggia invent the espresso machine as we know it in Milan back in 1938 and become the first brand to introduce a mass-produced espresso machine for the home in 1977.
That spirit of innovation now continues with a new Evo version of the Classic, now available with a host of product improvements and a selection of two new colours: the stylish Jungle Green and Sunshine Yellow, bringing the total number of finishes to nine.
Still made in Italy, the Classic was always designed to last, being made from metal with next to no plastic parts and also remaining easy to clean and maintain – resulting in many of the earliest machines still being in use today.
For most of its life, the Classic was only available in the one stylish brushed stainless steel INOX finish, but a splash of colour was added in 2020 with the machine becoming available in a choice of: Cherry Red, Industrial Grey, Polar White, Thunder Black and Mid-Night Blue, all joined shortly after by an anniversary celebrating Lobster Red model.
Still loved by many, the Gaggia Classic was the first ‘pro-sumer’ manual coffee machine, being easy enough to use by the enthusiastic amateur while also offering enough professional features for the more serious coffee aficionado.
