  • Fresh from a recent historic headline show at OVO Wembley Arena, Mercury Award-winning British jazz ensemble Ezra Collective performed live from their new acclaimed album ‘Dance, No One’s Watching’ in the iconic Studio Two, where the album was recorded.

In a landmark event, renowned British audio pioneers Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road, in partnership with Volvo Cars, hosted an interactive experience at the iconic London recording studio to celebrate the launch of the new Abbey Road Studios Mode – an innovative new sound technology designed to transform the in-car listening experience, while connecting listeners with the sonic signature of the studios in a new, unique way, exclusive to Bowers & Wilkins.

Attendees were immersed in the distinctive sounds and spaces of Abbey Road, experiencing firsthand how the ground-breaking sound mode captures the essence of the unique studio environment, while learning how the technology was developed from the combined Abbey Road and Bowers & Wilkins team behind the sound mode. The event featured a captivating interactive experience showcasing the artistry and innovation that defines both brands, while offering an exclusive first listen to the Abbey Road Studios sound mode in the new Volvo EX90.

Hosted by acclaimed DJ and music broadcaster Jamz Supernova, the event featured an insightful panel discussion with musician Femi Koleoso of Ezra Collective, and key figures from Abbey Road, Bowers & Wilkins and Volvo Cars, discussing the future of the listening experience. The conversation delved into the art of music creation, the importance of superior sound quality, and the evolution of the automotive listening experience.

To conclude the evening, the exceptional Ezra Collective took to stage in the iconic Studio Two, performing select tracks from their new album, Dance, No One’s Watching, recorded in the same studio space at Abbey Road Studios. This electrifying live performance was powered by Bowers & Wilkins’ one-of-a-kind PA, Sound System, delivering a truly immersive live music experience, exactly as the artist intended.
